POST/v2/announcement/dismiss

Dismiss the latest announcement

Dismisses the latest announcement for the authenticated user. Use this operation after the user has viewed the announcement to remove it from their current announcement flow.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

Error handling

A 400 is returned when the request is invalid, a 401 when the request is unauthenticated, a 403 when the authenticated user is not permitted to dismiss announcements, and a 404 when no announcement is available to dismiss. Send the request for the authenticated user whose latest announcement should be dismissed.
