Create a translation memory entry

Creates a translation memory entry containing source text and its translation in a target language. Supply sourceText, targetLanguageTag, and targetText; the language tag follows BCP 47 and the text fields can be empty. The response includes the created entry and its timestamps.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

Error handling

A 400 is returned when the request is invalid, a 401 when authentication is missing or invalid, a 403 when access is forbidden, and a 404 when the organization or translation memory cannot be found. sourceText, targetLanguageTag, and targetText are required; each text value must be no longer than 10,000 characters, and targetLanguageTag must be 1–20 characters with no commas. The organizationId path parameter identifies the organization, and the translationMemoryId path parameter identifies the memory.
